After four successful editions, India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW) returns to revolutionize the Indian fashion set-up for kids. IKFW, which has made a glorious impact on nation’s fashion week calendar now aims to be bigger and better fostering qualitative opportunities for both designers to showcase their creativity and kids to showcase their innate awesomeness. The objective is to create a significant mark on international fashion industry while providing a platform for identification and nurturing of individual identities with potential to be future fashion leaders and role models.
Organised by Event Capital and Craftworld Events, IKFW aims to bridge the void in industry by scouting all possible resources and culminating it into a magnum opus of fashion. The Indian kids wear industry will be worth more than Rs. 85,000 crores by 2018, and is expected to grow at a compounded annual rate of 9% per annum. Initiating this endeavour, IKFW gives brands and designers an opportunity to tap this nascent market, and creates a pathway for direct contact between the creator and the consumer.
It furthers aims for not only attitude building but also holistic personality development of participating children.
